Ally is a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design, having earned a BFA in Photography. It was there that she was exposed to a wide range of photographic techniques and studied under renowned names in the field, including Tim Keating, Steven Mosch, Zig Jackson and Craig Stevens. While in Savannah, Ally interned for DVB Photographers as an assistant wedding photographer for the talented Donna Von Bruening.
Ally's passion is for black and white silver gelatin printing and her personal work combines elements of the subconcious, theology, narratives and art forms.
Before pursuing a career in photography, Ally trained in classical ballet at the School of American Ballet, the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and through the Royal Academy of Dance. During her time at SCAD she perfomed locally with Ballet Savannah.
